Beware! Deadly Green Mamba Strikes Dutch City
A Dutch city is in panic after a deadly Green Mamba was spotted in the city limits. This species of snake, which is native to Africa, is highly venomous and capable of killing a human being within a couple of hours. This is the first time a Green Mamba has been reported in Europe and authorities are taking the threat seriously.
The snake was first spotted in a local junkyard by a worker on August 30, 2020. The snake was first thought to be a green garden snake, but upon closer inspection it was discovered to be a Green Mamba. This species of snake is known to prefer hotter temperatures and so the mild Dutch weather was probably to the snake’s liking.
Experts are unsure how the snake arrived in the area but are certain it is not native, with some speculating that it may have been brought in as exotic pet or illegally trafficked. An extermination team is currently working to track down and remove the snake from the city limits.
Given the snake’s highly venomous nature, local authorities have taken steps to ensure safety by setting up a perimeter around the city and urging people to exercise caution if they come across it. The snake normally stays away from humans but will strike if it becomes agitated or threatened.
So far, no one has been reported injured or killed from the Green Mamba, but authorities are still on high alert. The presence of this dangerous snake in the city has caught many residents off-guard and it is quite likely that more snake sightings will follow in the near future.
