While the full content and the authors of the texts embedded within the scrolls remain unknown, researchers have shared that the decoded passages seem to be revolving around the philosophical concept of Epicureanism. The findings align well with the notion that the villa where these scrolls were retrieved was indeed the Villa dei Papiri, housing philosophical texts related to the great Greek philosopher Epicurus and his school of thought.
