Unveiling the Majestic Ore Bounty in Kachi’s Flagstone Reserve!

Lake Resources NL (“Lake”; ASX:LKE), an innovative lithium exploration and production company, has just announced the maiden Ore Reserve for the flagship Kachi Project in Argentina. The Ore Reserve was declared following a $1.04 million costed exploration program that was focused on definition of the mineable orezone at Kachi. The Ore Reserve was calculated in preparation for production, which is now expected to start in the second quarter of 2019. The maiden Ore Reserve for the Kachi Project is estimated at 3.5Mt grading 1.15% Li2O for an indicated and inferred Ore Reserve of 40.2kt of lithium carbonate equivalent (LCE). The maiden Ore Reserve is an important milestone for the Kachi Project and marks the commencement of the transition from exploration to production. The Mineral Resource, which is now 95% complete, is expected to increase after the substantiation of historical drill holes. The Kachi Project contains an extensive polymetallic resource base including significant lithium as well as by-products such as gold, silver, and boron. Lake Resources expects to be able to re-process previously raised tailings at their processing plant in Argentina to obtain additional LCE. The Kachi Project is forecast to produce 777kt of LCE over an initial 7-year mining life. The Kachi Project marks a significant development for Lake Resources.
