At the meeting, shareholders approved all resolutions necessary to implement the previously announced business combination with Seed Digital Commodities Market and to complete the amalgamation of Canada Silver Cobalt Works, Murray Brook Minerals Inc., and 3245383 Canada Inc. in a new company, Cobalt Blockchain Inc.
Shareholders also elected seven new directors to the board of Cobalt Blockchain. These new directors are Paul Pitman, Derek Wood, Wilf Struck, Meranda Blak, Robin Dunbar, Tim Goinz, and Sergey Voytsekhovich.
The directors will help advance Cobalt Blockchain’s business plan to develop a fully integrated blockchain ecosystem for the physical trade and delivery of precious metals such as silver and cobalt. The blockchain based platform will be designed to streamline trade processes, reduce costs, and make transactions more secure and efficient.
The company has had a busy past few months, garnering strong interest in the Canadian Silver Cobalt Project and signing binding commitments totaling more than $12 million in project financing.
