“Messy Mishap Makes Delta Flight Do U-Turn!”
Recently, a Delta Airlines flight was forced to make a drastic u-turn and return to its destination due to a highly unfortunate incident. The flight, which was en route to its destination of Los Angeles from Houston, had just taken off when a passenger reportedly experienced immense intestinal discomfort, ultimately leading to a torrent of diarrhea.
The situation soon became untenable and the passenger was unable to contain the situation enough for the flight to continue its journey. With little choice left, pilots were forced to turn the flight back, although they would have faced serious repercussions if the delay had gone past a certain period of time. The passenger in question was immediately removed from the plane and some other passengers were reportedly unconvinced of the veracity of what had happened and were compelled to take new flights.
In a statement, Delta Airlines sympathized with “all those disturbed by the incident” and they cited the health of passengers as their number one priority. However, the unfortunate and embarrassing incident has left Delta with a black mark in terms of public opinion and the airline may struggle to win back passengers in the short-term.
This ultimately demonstrates that travelers should always be aware of the risks associated with airborne travel and be prepared for anything that could occur. Delta Airlines are also likely to become more stringent in terms of health checks for passengers in order to avoid a similar situation occurring in the future.
