“Disney Stockpiling the Sea: Sail Away on its 6th Cruise Ship!”

Disney fans everywhere rejoice! To expand its cruise line offerings, Disney recently announced they will be adding a sixth ship to its fleet. The new ship, as of yet unnamed, promises to be larger than any of its five predecessors in the Disney Cruise Line, and will be packed to the gills with entertainment themes, activities, and experiences. The new ship is scheduled to set sail in 2022, and will be the first of its kind in the Disney Cruise Line fleet to be specifically designed for entertainment, with concept art showcasing a vibrant and colorful appearance. Every deck will offer something different: from cultural themes to gastronomic delights, guests will have plenty to explore and enjoy beyond the popular Disney characters, performances, and shows. Inside, guests can expect to find themed rooms such as a Star Wars-inspired lounge, a 2019 Pixar-themed dining room, and a Cinco de Mayo celebration area, plus a three-tier atrium and pool deck complete with a water coaster, infinity pool, and bar. Entertainment updates will include an even larger theatre and an extensive children’s activity center, offering playgrounds, slides, and splash areas. The added ship is expected to provide a welcome boost to the overall Disney Cruise Line experience, while the character interactions, onboard theater features, exquisite dining, and unique entertainment will no doubt distinguish this new vessel from the rest of the fleet.
